Thrillophilia Bhutan Tour Package: A Review of Thrillophilia’s Excellence

As a solo traveler planning my first international trip, I decided to start with Bhutan—a country known for its vibrant traditions and serene landscapes. However, I was unsure how to plan the trip, manage visa requirements, and handle currency exchanges.

I had come across several reviews of Thrillophilia on Facebook and noticed their Instagram ads. Intrigued, I visited their website, which featured a range of well-organized and affordable travel packages. After browsing through multiple options, I found a Bhutan package that seemed perfect for me. To clarify my doubts, I submitted an inquiry, and a Thrillophilia representative promptly contacted me.

The representative walked me through the itinerary and patiently addressed all my concerns about my first international trip. Over the course of a few days, I gained the confidence to proceed with my booking. The entire process was seamless, and I appreciated the guidance I received at every step.

My First International Trip with Thrillophilia

I landed at Paro International Airport, where I was greeted by my friendly driver. Thrillophilia had arranged a sedan car for me, complete with snacks and water—a thoughtful gesture that instantly made me feel welcome.

From there, I traveled to Phuentsholing, where my hotel was situated in a picturesque location surrounded by lush greenery and majestic mountains. My cozy room featured wooden interiors and a large window offering stunning views of the town.

The first day was at leisure, allowing me to explore Phuentsholing on my own. I visited the serene Torsa River Side, explored the local market, and even purchased some gifts for my family and clothing items for myself.

Exploring Thimphu

On the second day, my driver picked me up for the journey to Thimphu, Bhutan’s capital city. After settling into my hotel, I explored the city’s attractions, including Clock Tower Square, Simply Bhutan Museum, Dechen Phodrang Monastery, and the Bhutan Postal Museum.

I also tried the Bhutanese delicacy, Ema Datshi—a spicy stew made from chilies and cheese. It was a dish I had been eager to taste ever since Deepika Padukone mentioned it as her favorite in an interview.

The third day was a deeper dive into Thimphu’s culture and beauty. I visited the iconic Buddha Statue, Simtokha Dzong, and National Memorial Chhorten. At the Choki Traditional Art School, I admired exquisite paintings, sculptures, and wood carvings. Later that evening, I traveled to Paro for the next leg of my journey.

Memorable Moments in Paro

Waking up in Paro was an experience in itself, thanks to the breathtaking views from my hotel room. After enjoying breakfast in my room, I embarked on a memorable hike to the Taktsang Monastery, also known as the Tiger’s Nest.

The hike, approximately 3 km, was both challenging and rewarding. Along the way, I visited Ta Dzong and Paro Rinpung Dzong. At the Taktsang Café, I enjoyed a cup of coffee and a delicious patty while soaking in the serene views. Leaving the café to head back was bittersweet.

Wrapping Up an Incredible Journey

After a delightful dinner, my driver took me back to the hotel in Paro to collect my luggage. I then returned to Phuentsholing for an overnight stay, as I had an early morning flight the next day.

On my final morning in Bhutan, I savored a traditional Bhutanese breakfast while admiring the surrounding mountains. My driver then dropped me off at the airport, marking the end of a truly unforgettable trip.
