Jaipur, the Pink City of India

The obligatory first stop on rivers of North India’s so-called Golden triangle is a switch in dust and modernization’s haphazard sprawl. It’s so much easy to lose an old city created 18 Century by farsighted Maharaja. It may appear an ordinary boring City to you until you know it’s specialties. Known as the Pink City of India the capital of Rajasthan attracts many visitors during the year due to its rich Heritage and Culture. It is a place where one can find the fusion of cultures and traditions with westernization. Age old structures and palaces in, a home to the valiant Rajput, have kept the old world charm intact and still reverberate with its grandeur.

The temples in this Regina of Jaipur are famous for its faith and reliability are famous for its faith and reliability of people towards their god. Temples like Birla Mandir, Khole ke hanuman Ji and many other places have an important place in the heart of a jaipurite.

There are a lot of things to do when one visits Jaipur:

Food

There are a lot of stuff to eat in Jaipur and a lot of places to go. From small cafes like a Small town and Nibs to big expensive restaurants like Ramada and Red fox Jaipur has all. If you have ever visited Jaipur and did not go to Choki Dhani to eat Rajasthan’s famous food Dal Bati Chroma then you are committing a sin.

If you want to remember your college days there is no place better than Gyan Vihar Dairy (GVD) Jaipur to go. Have a bowl of Maggi and a cup of coffee with your friends and have fun indefinitely will remember those college days. Other destinations in India you can also visit Kasol, Himachal Pradesh or the National Capital, Delhi.

Jaipur tour is never complete without having Jaipur’s famous street food specially Lassi at MG Road and PAN at Annu Paan shop as they are the best of their kind to provide thousands of paan flavour, including fire paan.

For tea lovers, Tapri is the best place as it gives you tea with Green Leaves and a timer after which you get to pour the tea all by yourself.

Last but not the least Laxmi Mishthan Bhandar (LMB) is a one-stop destination where you can get full Rajasthani food with the washroom rabdi milk that you will never forget.

Shopping

There is a separate area in Jaipur named Bapu Bazar where you can get everything from traditional saree and jutti to modern-day shirt and pants. You name it they have it. If you want to buy jewellery then go a little ahead in johri bazar and get the best jewellery you ever can.

If you are an emotional person, then you must visit the World Trade Park or you can buy stuff from Nike, Adidas to small brands like Ginny and Jony.

If you are running too late and need something super quick without spending too much money then Gaurav tower is the ideal place for you. Here you get everything and anything you want.

Monuments and adventure

The hot air balloon service of Jaipur is really awesome. When you go up high in the sky, you can see the tiny and beautiful Jaipur city standing gloriously at its place.

If you are a historical fan then Jaipur has so many places for you that you will go nuts. First, you can go to Jaipur fort which is four in number. Nahargarh at the top which is used for different purpose earlier but now it is a food with Wax Museum and awesome restaurant named Padao in it where you can enjoy the history while eating. The famous scene of Rang De Basanti where Aamir Khan while dancing jump into a pond is shooted here only. Then we have Jai Garh whose Prime function was storage here you can see the world’s biggest Cannon. Next, we have Amer Fort where can use to stay during the winter season it is humongous and size and provides an awesome view of Jaipur from it. Last we have City Palace which is so big in size the whole city can accommodate it. You can also visit Albert Museum where you can see things from ancient utensils to Egyptian mummies.

For science lovers Jawahar Jantar Mantar which is an astronomical instrument used by kings to know time date and other astrological predictions. It is identical twins brother in Delhi. A lot of temples will attract your attention due to the awesome architecture. During festivals, a great pomp and show can be seen at these temples. Paintball Arena has been recently opened in Jaipur for the youngsters to have fun.

The best season to visit Jaipur is from July to October as it’s a bit of rain this time so you will enjoy its clean roads with greenery on both sides. It is pretty easy to read Jaipur as Jaipur is well connected with land, and air. There is an international airport in Jaipur.

In the end, I would like to say do not get fooled by the geographical description of Rajasthan being a desert state. Jaipur is a gem in the desert. There is a reason to why people get attracted to this city of marvel heritages. Jaipur has astonished millions of local and international tourists, by date. You can be the one too!
